Creating a Website for a Hotel in Spain
About the project
The Flamingo Suite Boutique Hotel provides hospitality services in the south of the Spanish island of Tenerife. The 18 villas that make up this little paradise were begging to get on the pages of a stylish, convenient and multilingual site. We have brilliantly coped with dozens of hotel website development projects and took on the next challenge competently.
Design and navigation
The site design is an adaptive template in a combination of 3 colors — white, black and pale khaki. The entire space is filled with massive blocks that serve as containers for texts and photographs. Large typography, balanced composition and a calm palette convey a feeling of comfortable coziness, as befits a hotel. Unobtrusive hover animation of buttons, links and frames brings the site to life and attracts the attention of users.
As you can see, template design can be stylish. This is a good solution for clients who are ready to give up the wow effect in favor of a stylish, functional site, even if it is standard, in a short time and for less money.
Main page
The first screen of the site meets with a gallery of colorful photos with captions and a conversion button. The site header contains the usual laconic menu with the hotel logo, main sections and links to social networks:
Next, we get acquainted with 3 categories of apartments, placed between the circular photo galleries of the pool and SPA. The corresponding button with a caption at the very beginning of the presentation block calls for booking a villa:
A separate screen with a dark background and animated khaki text cards tells about the advantages of the hotel:
The contacts section contains the expected information: address, phone, mail, map and some copyright. But it is followed by a minimalistic section offering personal packages with additional services. A standard but rather elegant footer duplicates contact information and allows you to navigate to pages of interest:
Company page
Designed to visually tell about the hotel, its infrastructure and surroundings with inspiration.. Large blocks of bright photos neatly alternate with a text description of Flamingo Suites:
Apartment catalog
Structured and informative, the main section of the site is designed to acquaint visitors with the villas of the hotel complex. It is designed in the form of cards with a photo, description, cost and a button inviting you to explore the apartment in detail:
Contacts
Users can get acquainted with the contacts not only by going down to the footer of the site, but also on a separate page of the same name. In addition to location, phone numbers, email and description, the page contains a feedback form with 3 fields for entering name, email and message:
Functionality
The site is based on the WordPress CMS platform, popular all over the world due to its free use and ease of administration.
Convenient admin panel
CMS WordPress has a convenient admin panel that allows you not only to easily edit web pages, but also create new ones to your liking using the constructor. Such a management system allows the client to create, modify and delete content on the site without much effort and special knowledge: text, photos, prices, links, etc.

You can choose and book apartments on the website using the third-party Avirato booking service which is familiar to the user:
Multilingualism
Multilingualism was one of the most important requirements of the client, but they had neither the time nor the means to translate the site professionally. Therefore, we have implemented automatic translation of pages from the main Spanish language into English and Russian using the Google Translate online service:

We’ve optimized the URLs by choosing keywords for each page that will appeal to both users and search engines:
Summary
Inspired by the charm of cozy villas, we have created a stylish and easy-to-manage multilingual WordPress hotel website. Going through the pages and cards with photos of the apartments, you can almost feel the Canary breeze, and with it the desire to immediately move to Tenerife (read: book a hotel right now).
